Leigh Street Brawl 2008

The Leigh Street Brawl Broke out at the Wycombe raceway on the 1st of June with current team champions The Anarchist attending to Defend there Title. Six other Teams came to try & take the Title away from the Anarchist. Two Home teams The Chaos Warriors & The Real Deal From Basildon were the Bad Company & from Thurrock Smurfs & Smurfs gone Bad & Lastly the Hathern Team Metal Heads.  
The Concourse brought out all the Drivers to the track to judge the smartest team. The four that stood out were the Smurfs with all Granadas the Anarchist & the Chaos Warriors with three Triumphs & one XJ6. The Real Deal with all gold MK2 Jags won the Award for smartest Team.

Highlights of the Heats in the first Race 555 Dan Morgan Set the pace for Bad Co as 626 Mr Angry give 134 Tiny a Stiff jacking wasting the laters Triumph & the Metalheads showed their Destructive side putting the Smurf Peter Bowley in the fence. Wycombe driver 151 Wolfie racing for the Anarchist Bought his MK10 home in the top Three. The next race Saw Chaos Warriors Driver 323 Tufty put 54 Hardcore away early Jacking him over the fence leaving it all to lone Anarchist 154 Young gun to score to start their campaign & to fight off the Smurfs gone Bad showing what they made the Trip for Giving the Anarchists Headons & got points Deducted for Roof shoots & going oppo on start finish straight But Real Deals 44 the Waste made them wish they hadnt made the trip giving them some big hits. The Metal Heads 827 Drugmuffin Was taken out  in every heat will Team mate 616 Swifty got the most points for his team. Darren Napper got a few wins for his team & The Real Deals 46 Maverick was getting top points helped by team mate Ben Forbes wrecking. At the end of the heats Bad co a different team from last year got top points for the final with 53 Points. A big improvement on Last year, then Real Deal with 48 points in 2nd & the Chaos Warriors with 42 Points. The rest went into the last chance race with the Anarchist having it all to do to get a chance on retaining the Title.

The Anarchist Battled though taking out all the Smurfs but the Smurfs gone Bad were out to get the Anarchist team waiting on bends & giving them head ons in the end the Anarchist came out on top to join the other three teams in the final.

The final race result were done with top ten poistion getting points 1st place 10pts - 10th place1pts. the team with the most points from that Final would win the Title.
The Teams Lined up two by to with Bad Co's 555 Dan Morgan on front row with Real Deals 46 Maverick. First Action came on the first bend with Mr Angry Firing Dan Morgan Straight in the fence allowing 46 Maverick to take the lead as the rest of the field piled into the fence 54 Hardcore chanced the 46 Real deal driver will Danza give Darren Napper a Big headon Breaking the mounts off. Next casualty was 627 Sidewinder going over the fence reducing the chaos warriors to three who took out rest of the Bad co drivers. Manic got Jacked by Danza then Maverick got him follwed by Tufty jacking Maverick plus a few more joining in causing a track blockage which allowed 54 Hardcore to lead having pasted 46 Maverick & gained a health lead with Mr Angry giving chase with Real deal drivers following.Tthe lone Bad co driver 555 Dan Morgan pick up pace putting Emma Quarman Out leaving ten runners remaining towards the end. The finish saw 54 Hardcore win the race but it was unclear whether the Anarchist team had done enough to win over all with the Real Deal getting more higher places. The points were counted & Bad company were 4th, Chaos warriors were 3rd, & the Anarchist were beaten by two points to finish 2nd to the Real Deal team who won taking the Title of Leigh Street Brawl Champions well done to the High Wycombe Team.

Final event of the day was the Team Destruction Derby which was won by Mike Murray 827 from the Metal Heads out lasting the last Real Deal Driver Maverick.
